With your support, we are hoping to raise funds for building the Grace Foundation headquarters in Benin City by February 2, 2020. A multi-purpose activity hub, it will serve as a community and resource center and become a cornerstone for a new era of humanitarian action and sustainable change in Nigeria.
The self-financing Grace Foundation Community Center will be a green building that reduces carbon footprints and comprises a resource library with a separate computer area, a health and wellness area, an elderly care area and a separate, secluded and confidential area for girls and women who were victims of violence.
The welcoming reception area can seat up to 50 people and a small café offers visitors
local food and drinks at a nominal charge. The area will showcase paintings and works of art by local artists of Benin City and Nigeria, and a legacy wall for philanthropists making donations above $250.
Trained and licensed professionals will offer counseling services to women and girls who have been victims of sexual
violence and trauma in a private counselling area with a separate entrance, facilities for medical examination and
babysitting services for their children.
A resource library for up to 100 people offers a wide selection of reading materials on a variety of subjects and there will be an adjacent lounge for keeping up-to-date with international news, with separate cubicles for user groups to discuss important topics without disturbing other users.
